This course is for those professionals who have mastered the fundamentals of business writing and want to become versed in more complex forms of written communications in the workplace. The focus is on producing documents such as executive summaries, recommendations, formal reports, formal proposals and requests for proposal. The key elements of effective business writing such as clarity, accuracy, conciseness, and tone are reviewed and expanded upon with a particular emphasis on the role of written communication in effective management. This course is a continuation of Business Writing (EBC00018). Students should take Business Writing (EBC0018) or possess basic business writing skills before registering for this course.
